St. George’s will celebrate the feast of the Ascension with our Episcopal siblings at Trinity on Thursday, May 14 at 6:30 pm. The service will be hosted by Trinity Episcopal Church located at 825 College Ave, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
We will be gathering at Trinity Episcopal in their outdoor labyrinth to celebrate the Ascension. This prayer service will include readings, hymns, and a short homily from Father Rock. Please bring a chair if you want one. It will close with an opportunity to depart through the labyrinth or do an alternative closing activity. It will be an encouraging and reflective time on the last commissioning of Jesus before going to the “right hand of the Father.” If there is rain, we will gather in their parish hall.
