Formation for All Ages
Join us Sundays at 9 am for Formation for all Ages. This is Christian education, but we call it “formation,” because we are being formed into the Body of Christ together (and so all the members of the body are needed!)
Children and Youth Sunday School programs include:
- Grades PreK – 2: Godly Play – a Montessori-based program of stories, wondering, and expressive art or play. Located in the Godly Play room of the Preschool floor.
- Grades 3 – 5: SPLASH (Spirit, Play, Love All Spoken Here) using a curriculum designed by the Episcopal Church. Located in the Library behind Sydnor Hall.
- Grades 6 – 8: The Dragon’s Den – Join us for some interesting conversation of topics related to our faith, with art as our main reflection tool. Located on the Youth Floor.
- Grades 9 – 12: Youth Formation –Youth-led discussions on how Scripture, theology, worship, popular culture, and personal experience all intersect in our high school years. Located in Faulkner Hall.

Adult Formation:
- Adult Forum: Our adult forum topic with center on our upcoming Life in Christ Series. In conjunction with our preaching series, we will be exploring what it means to live as disciples of Jesus. The series will go from August 13 through October 4 and will be led by our Rector, Joe Hensley. Each session will include opportunities for small and large group conversation about joys and challenges of life in Christ as well as a presentation on the theme of each week and reflection on relevant Scriptures. This week’s theme: “Loving God and our Neighbors.”
