
Friday, October 30 – Monday, November 2, we have special worship events – in-person and virtually – to celebrate the lives of the Saints and grieve the losses so many of us are feeling.
Friday, October 30
7:30 pm: Scary Music for Organ concert on Facebook Live! It’s back! The four organists of St. George’s are returning for another evening of frightfully good organ music! The concert will premiere on Facebook at 7:30 pm. The concert is free with donations gladly accepted.
Saturday, October 31 – All Hallows Eve
5 pm: All Hallows Eve Celtic Evening Prayer in the graveyard with a special blessing of the costumes! If attending in-person, registration is required. Click here to make a reservation. A portion of the service will be livestreamed via Facebook Live.
Sunday, November 1 – All Saints Day
9 am: Pre-recorded Episcopal Service of the Word via Facebook Live and Zoom. Service will include special liturgy for All Saints Day
11:15 am: Outdoor Worship with Holy Communion in Market Square (weather permitting). Service will include special liturgy for All Saints Day and also be live streamed via Facebook Live. If attending in-person, registration is required. Click here to make a reservation.
Monday, November 2 – All Souls Day / Faithful Departed
12 pm: All Souls Day is set aside to remember and pray for those who have died in the past year. Beginning at noon, we will toll the bell 210 times, one for each 1,000 people who have died of Covid-19. We raise their memory to God’s mercy as we pray for an end to this pandemic. The bell tolling will be live streamed via Facebook Live.
7 pm: Spiritual Holy Eucharist in the Nave live streamed via Facebook Live.
