We resume regular Sunday School and Youth Group on Sunday, September 18, when we shift back to our program year worship schedule as well. We ask that parents / guardians register children and youth each year so we have current contact information on file.

We have a number of activities planned to connect with our Children (Pre-K – 5th grade) and Youth (6th – 12th grade) from September 27 – Christmas. Sign your child or youth up today!
For our children in Pre-K – 5th Grade, we will offer online formation. In lieu of in-person formation, St. George’s will be offering pre-recorded formational videos each week that will invite children to worship and explore our traditions. We will also incorporate activities for different age levels, and hope to provide opportunities for in-person gathering this Fall. Sign your child up here.
In lieu of our normal in-person gathering at church, St. George’s will be inviting youth grades 6 – 12 into a deeper discussion on topics that inform our faith. Grades 6 – 8 will meet online on Sundays from 5 – 6 pm and grades 9 – 12 from 6 – 7 pm. The first 6-week conversation will explore working for justice for all in our world. The second 6-weeks will focus on environmental stewardship and caring for God’s creation. We also plan to offer opportunities for in-person, distanced gatherings throughout the Fall. Our next youth outing is a camping and paddling adventure! On April 14 and 15, we will go camping and enjoy a 2-mile river trip led by the Virginia Outdoor Center. The cost is $15 and can be paid the day of the trip.
Drop off time is 10 am on Saturday and pick up is 10 am on Sunday. Please bring a bag lunch for the first day.
