The free concert by Hazel Run at St. George’s Episcopal Church is rescheduled to January 23 at 3 pm due to inclement weather.
St. George’s Episcopal Church is excited to host local favorite, Hazel Run, as part of the church’s Concert Series. Hazel Run is a Fredericksburg-based quartet drawing upon Americana, soul, and rock influences for their rich, folk sound.
Masks are required for all over the age of 2 – vaccinated or unvaccinated – and seating for the concert will be socially distanced.
Members Karen Richardson, Linda LaFave, Stephen Hu, and Stuart Whitford are multi-instrumentalists whose voices blend in harmonies reminiscent of CSNY, America, and Peter, Paul & Mary. Hazel Run will perform a combination of original songs and their interpretations of other artists’ material.
Located at 905 Princess Anne Street in historic downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia, St. George’s Episcopal Church offers a wide range of concerts throughout the year featuring local and out of town musicians. The nave’s lush acoustics provide the perfect backdrop for “beautiful music in a beautiful space”.
The concert is free with donations accepted at the door. For more information, contact (540) 373-4133 or music@stgeorgesepiscopal.net. To learn more about St. George’s concert series, visit www.stgeorgesepiscopal.net/music/concerts.
