St. George’s Episcopal Church will host its annual program wide concert featuring its choirs and instrumental ensembles on Sunday, December 19 at 3 pm. The concert is part of St. George’s Chamber Series. This eclectic afternoon of holiday music will showcase the varied music ensembles at St. George’s. Works will include festive choral music, jazz, Christmas favorites from the Celtic tradition, handbell choir, and a festive hymn sing.
Located at 905 Princess Anne Street in historic downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia, St. George’s Episcopal Church offers a wide range of concerts throughout the year featuring local and out of town musicians. The nave’s lush acoustics provide the perfect backdrop for “beautiful music in a beautiful space”.
The concert is free with donations accepted at the door. Masks are required for all visitors – vaccinated or unvaccinated – over the age of 2.
