Rally for Service Sunday 2020

September 4, 2020 by St. George's Leave a Comment

Rally for ServiceSeptember 13, 2020 is our Rally for Service Sunday! We have found new ways to celebrate ministry, worship, service, and community life. We hope you will be able to join us for some or all of the events.

Here’s the schedule for the day:

9 am: Socially distanced worship in our graveyard. Reservations are required, please click here.  We will also share the service via Facebook Live.

10 am: Socially distanced service projects, including sprucing up at a local park, giving some TLC to St. George’s grounds, and planting trees. Sign up here.
For those not comfortable gathering, families and small groups are encouraged to design their own community service projects: neighborhood clean-up, painting rocks with messages for your neighborhood, making goodies for local first responders and health workers, sending support for national and local issues to your elected officials (see Episcopal Public Policy Network at episcopalchurch.org), the ideas are endless – use your imagination!

12:30 pm: Share stories of your service projects or just check in and say hello at a Virtual Zoom Lunch Potluck!
