Living in Rhythm, Evening Lent Series
Living in Rhythm: a Lenten reflection. During Lent, you are invited to explore what it means to cultivate a “rule of life.” This is about finding a sustainable rhythm of life that includes the things which are most important to the spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being of ourselves and our community. Sign up for a daily email from the monks at Society of St. John the Evangelist (ssje.org) and/or join fellow St. Georgians on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. in Faulkner Hall for group reflection. Study booklets can be downloaded for free from ssje.org or are available in the church office. Begins Feb. 15.
Here is Br. David from the Society of St. John the Evangelist explaining how the structure of a Rule is like a trellis in a garden, giving order and meaning to our lives.
