Why are humans such an important part of God’s creation?
What does it mean to us that we are created in the image of God?
What makes us so wonderfully and fearfully made?
How does God call God’s people into God’s work in the world?
Why does God search us out?
What does it mean to be known by God?
Pondering these questions is part of our Rite 13 program. Our fall Rite 13 class is Sunday mornings October 1 – November 12, 2017 in the Elsie Lewis Room next to our nursery at 10 a.m. culminating in the Rite 13 liturgy at the 9 a.m. service on November 19. Parent’s information meeting is this Sunday, October 1 at 10 a.m. on the youth floor in the small classroom. Children who are 14 and have not participated in a Rite 13 liturgy are invited to attend as well as all youth who are or will be 13 by May 2018.
