“Being Passionately Christian and Becoming Compassionately Interfaith”
As St. George’s continues to explore the dynamic of being a compassionate community and sharing this with our interfaith neighbors, we have invited a special guest speaker for our Lenten Weekend program. The Rev. Dr. Sathianathan (“Sathi”) Clarke, current chair of World Christianity at Wesley Theological Seminary, is a world-renowned lecturer on global Christianity and interreligious dialogue. We are thrilled to have this award-winning teacher and scholar in our midst for a three-part program learning how being fully in touch with our Christian faith makes us better able to be peacemakers and life-bearers in community with people of all faiths.

All events are open to the general public. You do NOT have to be a member of St. George’s to attend.
We suggest a donation of $25 per person for the weekend; this helps cover the expenses of bringing outstanding writers, teachers and thought leaders to you. We want our speakers to be accessible to all, and we know that some people will be able to donate more than $25, and others less. There is no cost for students. Childcare will be provided if there is a sufficient need.
