St. George’s Episcopal Church Fredericksburg, Virginia, is now hiring a part time Music Assistant.

St. George’s has a vibrant music ministry, with multiple ensembles and choir. Under the direction of the Acting Director of Music Ministries, the music ministry helps lead worship services. Currently, St. George’s is now hiring a part time Music Assistant (15 hours / week) to support this ministry. The Music Assistant is an integral member of the worship team. They provide essential administrative support as well as share their musical gifts with the community.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Organ proficiency preferred
- Skilled pianist
- Experience working with choirs and ensembles
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent relationship-building, teamwork, and overall people skills
- Leadership experience with volunteers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
