Stewardship: An Invitation to Share
St. George’s thanks everyone for all their contributions. We are inviting your good faith pledges of support for 2019. By pledging now, you take a step in faith and help the church’s annual budget planning.
The process is different than last year. Your sealed pledge card will be mailed to you. You can fill it out and mail it back or leave it in the offering plate on Sunday. If you prefer you can even pledge online. Extra cards are available in the church Narthex (by the front door) and in the pews.
Our theme this year is “An Invitation to Share”. Your gifts enable us to be faithful stewards of this parish and of the ministries we offer to the world. You fund our efforts to care for our buildings and grounds, to expand and enhance our program offerings, to nurture our children in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, to encourage our youth and young adults, to reach out to members of our community, and to stretch to parts of the world desperate for hope. We thank God for your help and support in doing the work of the church.
Below are several tools and resources to help you as you discern how you are called to participate in stewardship, the spirit of giving together. We give not just to raise funds. We give as a spiritual practice, together, to raise faith.
