Your generous donations are sacred offerings which help sustain our mission to help people grow in faith and reach out in love. Below are a number of ways to give beyond “passing the plate.” Thank you for your support. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Give online by credit card or bank account
One-time donations: Is there a specific ministry that stirs you heart? Does a ministry need speak to your soul? You can make a one-time gift at any time by clicking here.
- Select a fund from the dropdown. To support our mission generally, select “church donations”
- Enter your donation amount
- To give in honor or memory of a loved one, include their name in the appropriate box. Otherwise, you can leave these blank.
- Complete the payment information
- Click submit. Thank you for your e-gift!
Recurring gifts(such as a pledge): Would you like to make a commitment to give to St. George’s on a regular basis? Click here to set up a recurring gift.
- Select a fund from the dropdown. For general donations, select “church donations”
- Enter your donation amount
- To give in honor or memory of a loved one, include their name in the appropriate box. Otherwise, you can leave these blank.
- Check the box for “Make this gift recurring” and click submit
- If you have an existing account, login in
- If you need to create an account, click “Register for an account” and provide your email address, phone number, and contact information and click “Register”
- Select how often you would like to give your gift: Weekly, biweekly, twice a month, monthly, quarterly or annually and also enter the start date.
- You can give your gifts via credit card or bank account:
For credit card – input name on card, card number, expiration and then the CVV2 code .For bank account – Choose bank account and the information on the account, name, account type (checking, savings), routing number, account number - Click submit. Thank you for your e-gift!
Give by text
- Send a text message with the dollar amount (e.g. “$10”) to 1-540-701-4133 . If this is your first time giving this way, you will have to fill out a short form with billing info.
- If you want a list of funds, type “Funds.”
After the initial setup, giving is as easy as sending a text message.

Complete your check and mail to St. George’s Episcopal Church, PO Box 7127, Fredericksburg, VA 22404.
Please make checks payable to “St. George’s Episcopal Church”. Before you drop it in the mail, please check to make sure the amount matches the written out amount, the date is correct (please do not postdate your check), your check is signed.

Donating Securities: making a gift of stock to St. George’s
Funds: We maintain several funds, such as General Endowment Fund, Memorial Trust Fund, Organ Fund.
Pledges: 87% of our revenue comes from pledges. Consider making a commitment to give.
