St. George’s is a proud supporter of Hope and Resurrection School in Atiba, South Sudan. South Sudan is transforming lives. In addition to exceptional academics, young men and women are learning side by side that girls are equal to boys and have an important role in developing their new nation. The parents of the students are learning that sending their sons, and especially their daughters, to school is important for their future and their nation as well. The future leaders of South Sudan are now being educated at Hope and Resurrection School.
The school was built and continues to be funded by Richmond-based Hope for Humanity, Inc. The founders are members of Christ Church Episcopal, Glen Allen, Virginia. Click here to see a thank-you note from Hope and Resurrection.
