A message from our Rector:
In these times of uncertainty, God is at work and is calling the church together in new ways. While we cannot gather in our buildings for a time, the church’s ministry continues beyond the walls. We invite you to connect. Reach out to us and others as we share God’s love and mercy together. “Glory to God whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine.” (Ephesians 3:20) – The Rev. Joe Hensley
Our church is still open, but we are taking precautions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please see details below and reach out to us if needed. God’s peace be with you!

St. George’s is a generous congregation. We appreciate that many parishioners are making their regular and special offerings through our website, electronic banking (as an automatic draft or one-time funds transfers) or by mailing a check (905 Princess Anne Street Fredericksburg, VA 22401). Contact business manager, Ben Hicks with any questions about ways to give. Please continue your offerings, as you are able. Our ministry continues, especially as we reach out beyond our walls in new ways to stay connected as the Body of Christ. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
If you have a prayer request to offer which we can share in worship at our weekday service on Thursday, please submit it here.
Bishop Susan Goff announced that all churches in the Diocese of Virginia would be closed for public worship at least until May 8 (with further extension possible). You can keep up with Diocesan updates on their news page. We are now in the midst of trying to figure out how we will observe Holy Week and Easter at a distance. Please stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for updates. You can also sign up to receive our weekly e-newsletter for the latest news.

Community Dinners and The Table:
Due to the COVID-19 situation, all Micah community breakfasts and dinners will be served at the Micah hospitality center (1013 Princess Anne Street) until further notice. Micah is open from 9 am – 1 pm Monday through Friday.
The Table will also be closed during St. George’s closure.
Bishop Goff has provided this prayer:
Almighty God, we entrust all who have been affected by the outbreak of COVID-19, all who will be affected, all who care for them, and all who are dear to us to your never-failing care and love, for this life and for the life to come, knowing that you are already doing for all of us more than we could ever imagine or pray for; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
