Our Annual Meeting was held on Dec. 10, 2017. The Episcopal Church canons (rules) require that the parish meet for the election of vestry members and other necessary business. It has become a tradition in many parishes to use the meeting as a time to reflect on the past year and look ahead. Far from an exhaustive review of the past year, this year’s annual meeting provided some highlights and some glimpses at the blessings, challenges, and opportunities before us. The good news is that we are in very good shape with a lot to do in the next three years as we live into our growth and anticipate our 300th anniversary in 2020. See the slides from the meeting, comments from our lay wardens, and a (coming soon) sermon from our rector.
VESTRY RESULTS: Also last Sunday, we elected Janice Brunson, Sheryl Stroud Bryant, Terry Dorn, and Trip Lloyd to the vestry. Thank you to all who were willing to serve.
