Worship is at the heart of our life at St. George’s. In it we find the source, the call, and the empowerment for the three-fold pilgrimage. Worship is at the heart of our life, our life together in Christ: the journey inward to find and be found by God, the journey together find and be found by our sisters and brothers, and the journey outward to offer what we have and be in service to our neighbors and the world.
Our worship is both traditional and contemporary, claiming the resources of a glorious past and blending them with the vitality of current offerings. We are faithful to our heritage of vibrant music, with a variety of choirs and musicians at services throughout the year.
Our worship is an offering in thanksgiving to God: it is an invitation into life in the Body of Christ. Worship is an opportunity for service and it provides the call and challenge that shape and empower our witness in the world.
In our worship life we seek to be holy in our dedication to God, engaging in our involvement of those who come to worship, and inclusive for all in this diverse world. We are a hopeful community, yearning to express God’s will for each of us and for our world, and we are joyful, claiming the promises of God with confident trust.
St. George’s is a place where inclusion is expected, where people of all faiths are welcomed and where we continually live into the challenge of expanding our capacity for diverse and dynamic celebrations of God’s inclusive love.
