In addition to the programs listed below, instrumentalists of all ages are encouraged to participate in worship at St. George’s as time and talents permit. See the Director of Music Ministries for details.
The St. George’s Jazz Ensemble Provides instrumental leadership for the 9:00am Eucharist with the Jazz Ensemble Choir Performs at community events in various venues throughout the year Is open to all competent instrumentalists (Some music reading skills are necessary) Rehearsals: Saturdays from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the Gallery. Sunday warm up 8:30 a.m.
St. George’s Hand Bell Choir - directed by Lisa Bogardus Performs at both 9:00 and 11:00 Eucharists on alternate weeks Is open to all interested ringers (Basic music reading skills are helpful. Instruction is available for beginners) Rehearsals: Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30pm in the Gallery. Sunday warm up 8:30 a.m. for the 9:00 a.m. service, 10:30 a.m. for the 11:00 service.
