Our Opportunities for Christian Education

At St. George's, we provide opportunities for Christian Education for all ages. Check out our latest education newsletter Balance to learn about the offering that is right for you. Click here to view a copy of Balance for Spring 2008 (Requires Adobe Acrobat ).

Our 2007-2008 Church School Program

In order to help us plan for the fall, please complete the Christian Education registration form and return it to us as soon as possible. Our upcoming renovations make this especially important this year. Please note, you may fill in the form on line and then either print the form and send it into the office or you may email the form to Carey Chirico. Emailing instructions are provided when you click the "Submit by Email" button on the form.

Other Opportunities for Adult Education

Education for Ministry (EfM) is an extension course in theology sponsored by the School of Theology at the University of the South (an Episcopal seminary) in Sewanee, Tennessee.  Available globally through interested parishes like St. George's, EfM consists of four parts, focusing sequentially on the Old Testament, New Testament, church history, and theology.  In addition to study, EfM provides the six to twelve members with ample opportunity for discussion and personal insight, relating theology and scripture to their daily lives.  At the conclusion of the program, graduates will have a deeper understanding of scripture and of their faith.
