OUR LITTLE ROSES, HONDURAS MISSION TRIP 2005

Note of Thanks from Honduras Sep 8, 2005...
Dear friends,
On behalf of the girls and the staff of Our Little Roses Ministries, I want to express
you our deep gratitude for all your work, efforts and love for our Ministry. There's no
words to let you know how meaningful it is to count on you and to know that you are always
caring for us and helping us in the best way possible.
Thank you for helping us to keep our building in the best possible conditions. The roofs you have built for our buildings were a need that thanks to your support and hard
work became a reality and Miriam, Lucy and Isabel (ladies of the kitchens) are very thankful
for it since it is making a difference in the temperature inside the kitchen. Thank you also
for helping us to buy those beautiful and comfortable beds for the little girls at St. Mark's.
Without your support, it would be impossible for us to reach our goals.
I am enclosing some pictures of the roofs and bunk beds, so you can share them with the
congregation of St. Georges.
God bless you and please keep us in your prayers.
In His Service,
Mayra Arguelles

All -
We got back from a beautiful trip to Copan in time for supper on Monday evening. The Mayan
ruins were spectacular our hotel on the edge of town was beautiful and comfortable.
The weather was cool and the mountains were beautiful. All in all a very successful adventure.
Yesterday we were back at Our Little Roses and after a morning trip to the market had another
fun day. All of our activities have been going well. Yoga, painted hats, beauty day, group singing,
etc., have all been well received and fun. Last night we used our pill bottle shakers that the girls
painted for the second time for group singing and once again they were a big hit. Our little
roof / awning project is going well and we hope to finish the cover for one window and get a good
start on a second set.
The group continues to function well. The teens are well behaved, patient, loving and adored
by the girls. Yesterday Janice received a nice complement on their behavior from the Director who said
that the staff had reported to her that our teens were doing a great job.
Our overall health continues good with no major tummy problems.
On a sour note, the computer we are using will not accept any of our camera equipment so we'll
have to wait until we return to share our hundreds of pictures.
Please continue to keep all of us and the girls and staff at Our Little Roses in your thoughts and prayers.
Ben Wafle

Day 3 is underway and going well. Activities have been fun including painting, singing,
play, yoga, the roof, etc. I'm sorry to report that, so far, I have been unable to download
any pictures. We have several cameras but this computer does not want to let us connect to them. I'll keep trying but for now know that we all are well, the girls are great and we are having fun.
Keep us all in your prayers.
