Based upon Commissions and Staff requests
the Vestry approved a preliminary budget of $855,000 which requires pledges
totaling $775,000 to fully fund our expenses.

Letters and pledge forms were mailed on October 9, 2007.
We ask that you read the Senior Warden's message, pray about your commitment to
St. George's and follow the instructions on the pledge card.

October 21, 2007, was Pledge Sunday.

November 8, 2007, we mailed reminders to all who had not pledged.

November 27, 2007, we included another reminder in the newsletter.

December 15, 2007, Finance Committee met and decided to extend the pledge campaign
in order to fund as much of the budget as possible.

December 31, 2007, Finance Committee mailed a final plea for pledges.

January 13, 2008, Alan Gayle, Junior Warden, explained the
potential impact of the pledge shortfall to the congregation at all three services.

February 6, 2008, Ash Wednesday, was the final day for pledges.
At this date we are still $101,975 short of the goal for a fully funded budget.

February 16, 2008, the Finance Committee met and
lowered the expense budget to $791,133.
