The Episcopal Church Women or ECW is an organization of all the women of the Episcopal Church. All ladies of St. George's Church are members. We have two chapters at St. George's:

• The Morning Chapter meets the second Tuesday of the month at 10 AM in Faulkner Hall from September through May. Please contact Leslie Pugh, leader of the Morning Chapter, at 373-9966 for more information.
• The Avis Harris Chapter usually meets the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 PM in members' homes, also from September through May. Please contact one of the co-leaders, Peggy Conway at 786-7866 or Pat Baughman at 373-0324, for more information.

Upcoming Special Event ~

Please contact all chapter members concerning the Spring Open Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 20, at St. James the Less Church in Ashland.  The program is called "From Darkness Into Light".  The Rt. Rev. Peter James Lee will share historical stories about our past Bishops of the Diocese of Virginia.  The Rev. Lynn Litchfield, Chaplain at Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women, will bring a message of providing light to those in need.  Buck Blanchard, Missioner for the Diocese, will shed light on other ministries.  The morning meeting will be followed by lunch.  A service of Holy Eucharist will end our day. The cost is $15.  Please make your check payable to St. George's Church and either give it to Bryn Roth or put it in the ECW mailbox at the church.

The Avis Harris Chapter of ECW presented its 3rd Jazzy Jewelry Jubilee Saturday, May 19, 2007

The Jazzy Jewelry Jubilee occurs every 3 years and was a big success as usual.
